Steen Skybolt

Todd,
Here is the picture I promised you. This is my 1986 Steen Skybolt with my newly installed "Todd's Canopy". The canopy style of this Steen is of the "Firebolt" variant on sliding rails. As far as I can research, there are no canopies available for replacement of this model. In any regards, the canopy arrived in Denver undamaged. It took me only 1.5 hours to trim it for the exact fit on my frame. I had 65 holes to drill which I carefully took about 1 hour to match up to the frame. By the way, I used a drill that was made exclusively for drilling Plexiglas. The next hour was spent mounting the drilled canopy to the frame and shrouds. As you can see I now have a new optically perfect Todd's Canopy. Please feel free to post this picture and endorsement to your web site. thanks again,

I received the canopy today. I could not have asked for a better looking canopy. The color and the optics are very very nice. This is really going to make the plane! I have attached a photo of the canopy setting on the fuselage ready for trimming. I will follow with additional pictures of the installation. I can't wait to get started trimming the canopy. Again, thank you for a quality product.
